Job summary

Directive Consulting is a leading B2B performance marketing agency seeking a seasoned accounting/FP&A leader. You will own the month-end close, manage revenue streams, and lead FP&A with budgeting and forecasting, partnering with leadership to optimize margin across multi-country operations.

This hybrid/remote role prioritizes strategic oversight, cross-country compliance (US, Canada, MX, UK), and the automation of reporting to drive actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in accounting and/or FP&A.
• Experience with month-end close under GAAP (revenue recognition).
• Experience in professional services, agencies, or SaaS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close: revenue recognition, accruals, prepaids, reconciliations, and close calendar.
• Manage recurring, project, and variable revenue, including mid-month starts and prorations.
• Maintain monthly client and divisional P&Ls, track margins and EBITDA, and prepare variance analyses.
• Automate and improve reporting to save time and improve insights for leadership.
