Job summary

Directive Consulting, a leading B2B performance marketing agency, seeks a seasoned accounting/FP&A leader to own the month-end close and drive strategic financial insights across clients, divisions, and service lines. You will partner with the Head of Finance to refine models, pricing, and capacity planning for scalable growth.

The role blends hands-on accounting with forward-looking FP&A, including budget, forecasts, and variance analysis, in a hybrid work environment across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in accounting and/or FP&A.
• Hands-on month-end close ownership under GAAP including revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close: revenue recognition, accruals, prepaids, reconciliations, and a close calendar.
• Manage recurring, project, and variable revenue, including mid-month starts, churn, offering swaps, and prorations.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll entries, and multi-country (US, Canada, Mexico, UK) compliance.
• Maintain clean, audit-ready books with strong controls and reconciliations.
• Oversee billing accuracy and collections with account teams.
• Maintain monthly client and divisional P&Ls and track gross margin and EBITDA.
