Job summary

Directive Consulting is a hybrid seat where you own the month-end close and turn numbers into forward-looking insight. You’ll be the Head of Finance's right hand, driving revenue recognition, reconciliations, and multi-country compliance while shaping margin analysis by client and service line.

This role blends accounting with FP&A—maintaining client and divisional P&Ls, budgeting, rolling forecasts, and pricing support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in accounting and/or FP&A.
• Hands-on month-end close ownership under GAAP.
• Strong modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience in professional services, agencies, or SaaS.
• Familiarity with NetSuite (or similar ERP).
• Strong English communication skills.
• Remote-friendly / hybrid with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close: revenue recognition, accruals, reconciliations.
• Manage revenue and billing for multiple countries (US, Canada, MX, UK).
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll entries and country compliance.
• Maintain audit-ready books with strong internal controls.
• Prepare monthly FP&A with budgets, forecast, variance analysis.
• Support pricing and capacity planning; model new-client economics.
• Automate and improve reporting to save time.
