Bluelight LLC is seeking a skilled backend engineer to join a fast-paced software consultancy. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Elixir and the Phoenix framework, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable services.

The role emphasizes ownership of features from concept to release, with a focus on reliability, performance, and clean code. Prior experience with OTP and distributed systems is highly valued, along with a strong product

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience focusing on backend systems.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, concurrency, distribution, and functional programming.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to launch, including technical specs and release processes.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Stay current with Elixir ecosystem trends and best practices.
