Deloitte Americas Delivery Mexico (ADMX) is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and deliver robust data pipelines and platform components for client engagements. You will interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams while providing technical guidance to team members and contributing to architecture decisions.

Formación

• 3 to 10 years of consulting and/or industry experience.
• Completion of course of study/EGRESADO in Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering, or equivalent years of experience.
• Advanced English level.
• Located: Queretaro or Guadalajara, Mexico.
• Proficiency in Python with modular, production-grade code and testing frameworks (pytest).
• Hands-on Data Engineering with Spark, dbt, or similar; medallion data architectures (bronze/silver/gold).
• Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure): at least one cloud platform; designs cloud-native pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Independently design and deliver data pipelines and platform components; mentor junior engineers.
• Design end-to-end data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, load).
• Select tools/patterns based on data volume, latency, and constraints.
• Implement data quality frameworks and observability practices.
• Collaborate with Analytics/AI engineers to align data models with consumption needs.
• Contribute to technical documentation and data dictionaries.
• Participate in client workshops; translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Mentor and review work by Analyst-level engineers.
