Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. in Mexico City seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines powering analytics and AI. You’ll work with dbt, Snowflake, Informatica, and Airflow to deliver high-quality data products and insights.

You will lead AI-assisted engineering practices, mentor peers, and collaborate with analysts, product managers, and business teams to translate requirements into production-ready data solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Strong data modeling skills (dimensional, star/snowflake).
• Production experience with dbt and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Informatica and Airflow.
• Experience using AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery.
• Context engineering and agent design capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated pipelines and data models.
• Integrate data from multiple systems into unified datasets.
• Ensure data quality with validation, observability, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with analysts, product managers, and business teams.
• Use AI-native tools to accelerate development, testing, and documentation.
• Develop agentic workflows and review agent-proposed fixes.
• Design verification patterns to validate agent output before production.
• Develop MCP servers for secure, governed data access.
