Reboot Monkey is seeking a Freelance Data Center Technician to deliver on-demand support to our global data centers. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain servers and networking gear while working remotely with our distributed teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper devices, Windows and Linux, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V). Flexibility to travel and work outside regular hours is a plus for this remote role.

Formación

• 3+ years of data center operations, including independent or freelance projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and remote work capability.
• Experience with server, network configuration, and security best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, and maintain servers and networking gear to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Monitor data center operations remotely and on-site, diagnose issues, and minimize downtime.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper networking devices to ensure secure operations.
• Manage Linux and Windows systems, applying patches and security enhancements.
• Document installations, repairs, and performance with reports to remote management.
• Implement security protocols and ensure data center compliance.
• Collaborate with remote IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders on projects.
