Job summary

Platzi is seeking a Course Director to own educational initiatives end to end — from courses and live classes to events and product collaborations. You will choose and coach teachers, work with Postproduction, Growth and Engineering to optimize how learning happens on the platform.

At any time you will run 2 to 3 initiatives in parallel, each at different stages, deciding launch timing based on data, demand and market needs. This is a hands-on, creative role that treats courses as products.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in education or digital content and creative production.
• You have created content yourself and can explain why it worked.
• Product mindset: treat what you build as a hypothesis and know what would prove you wrong.
• Creative judgment that is digital-first with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using AI tools (LLMs, copilots, automation platforms) as part of daily workflow.
• Experience coaching teachers, creators or talent with empathy and a high bar.
• Fluent English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Own initiatives end to end: from deciding what to teach to production, launch and post-launch.
• Design the experience, not just the content: formats, dynamics and projects that people finish.
• Run experiments on courses and discontinue what doesn’t work, even if it was your idea.
• Choose, onboard and coach teachers, and maintain high standards for class quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering on platform features to improve learning outcomes.
• Own metrics: enrollment, completion, and use AI to speed up production without lowering quality.
