Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented Curriculum Developer to design online learning modules and assessments. You will create engaging content, align with objectives, and collaborate with SMEs to translate expertise into effective e-learning materials.

The role requires strong instructional design knowledge, writing skills, and experience with Storyline, Captivate, and Camtasia. Remote contract with flexible schedules and international collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in developing online curriculum and e-learning content.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia).
• Strong understanding of instructional design models (ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy) and adult learning theories.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience in creating multimedia learning assets (video, audio, graphics) is a strong plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines independently.
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
• A portfolio showcasing previous curriculum development work is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive curricula for online learning modules across various subjects.
• Create engaging learning content, including text, interactive exercises, multimedia elements, and assessments.
• Ensure content aligns with learning objectives and industry standards.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate knowledge into e-learning materials.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design to optimize the learning experience.
• Write clear, concise instructional text and scripts.
• Develop formative and summative assessments to measure learning outcomes.
• Utilize authoring tools and CMS to build and manage course content.
• Review and revise existing curriculum materials for relevance and quality.
• Stay updated on trends in e-learning and curriculum development.
