Job summary

HireHawk Inc. is seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys across the full lifecycle of civil matters. The role requires strong civil litigation experience, practical knowledge of procedure, and the ability to anticipate needs for pleadings, discovery, court filings, and trial preparation.

This is a remote, full-time position aligned with U.S. and Canadian litigation workflows. You will manage pleadings, discovery responses, calendaring, client communications, and hearing

Qualifications

• Must have strong civil litigation support experience.
• Knowledge of civil litigation procedure and lifecycle of a case.
• Experience in personal injury law is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with pleadings, motions, declarations, discovery, and court filings.
• Ability to calendar and track deadlines with high accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication, professional interaction with clients and courts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and format pleadings, motions, declarations, and court filings.
• Complete Judicial Council forms and California civil litigation forms.
• Calendar and track litigation deadlines, court dates, and discovery milestones.
• Prepare discovery documents and assist with drafting responses.
• Draft demand letters and other case-related documents.
• Maintain organized case files and exhibits.
• Organize documents for hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Coordinate client interviews and document collection.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.
• Support attorneys with trial preparation and case strategy.
