Job summary

JumpCloud Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage a high-volume B2B portfolio, perform collections, and support cash forecasting.

This remote-first role in Mexico requires effective English communication and collaboration with Sales, Renewals, and Operations to resolve billing issues and maintain accurate ERP/CRM records. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in AR, a degree in accounting/finance, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 1-2 years’ experience in accounts receivable and collections can substitute for educational requirements.
• Basic knowledge of sales contracts and standard payment terms.
• Flexibility to work an early shift schedule to provide coverage and support for European time zones.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume portfolio of B2B accounts focusing on proactive monitoring and initial outreach for past-due accounts.
• Contact customers via email and phone regarding overdue invoices in a professional manner.
• Assist in cash forecasting and provide predictability on expected weekly/monthly collections.
• Embrace AI-friendly mindset and integrate new automation tools into daily workflows.
• Monitor aging reports and update Finance Leadership on collection status and potential bad debt risks.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with Sales, Renewals, and Operations.
• Ensure all collection activities and customer interactions are recorded in NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Post daily customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Understand contracts to interpret payment terms and detect inconsistencies.
• Communicate with Sales, Operations, and Finance; participate in Governance calls and ad hoc projects.
