Job summary

Banco Plata in Mexico City seeks a Regulatory Reporting Product/Project Manager to join our team. You will own end-to-end regulatory reporting, ensuring timely, accurate submissions to authorities and strict compliance with evolving requirements.

Coordinate across data, operations and techUnits, manage deadlines, and drive cross-functional initiatives. A mindset of ownership, strong stakeholder management, and fluency in Spanish and English (B1+) are required for this international team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Product/Project Management in IT.
• Experience working with Data Warehouse (DWH) solutions.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
• Project management experience with strict deadlines and high expectations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to align expectations.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data processing, and analytics system architecture.
• Analytical mindset, systems thinking, and stress resistance.
• Spanish level B1+ and English level B1+ for international team communication.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for delivering all regulatory reports to the relevant authorities.
• Own end-to-end delivery management: plan, coordinate, and track delivery across teams to meet deadlines, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead communication with the regulator: prepare documentation, provide timely responses, coordinate audits, and ensure product compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Manage the OPS unit overseeing the delivery of reports to regulators.
• Initiate and drive cross-team workstreams: launch initiatives, align resources, remove blockers, and ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration.
