Job summary

Banco Plata in Mexico City seeks a seasoned Information Security regulator and governance professional to translate Mexican requirements into actionable controls and coordinate cross-functional teams.

You will own regulatory reporting, evidence collection, and interaction with CNBV and other local authorities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely responses while maintaining readiness for examinations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in information security, cybersecurity governance, risk, or IT audit.
• Experience with regulated Mexican financial institutions.
• Proven ownership of regulatory submissions, evidence collection, and remediation tracking.
• Fluent Spanish and professional English.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance and ensure timely submissions with complete evidence.
• Coordinate with Global CISO, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, and Operations.
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable security controls and processes.
• Prepare and manage regulatory reports, responses, and evidence packages.
• Oversee audits, examinations, and assurance activities for Mexico.
• Maintain an up-to-date evidence repository and escalation of blockers.
