Job summary

BOGE Rubber & Plastics Group is seeking a Regional Rubber-Metal Process Specialist to support manufacturing operations across Mexico, Brazil, and the United States. The role focuses on advancing rubber-to-metal bonding processes, surface preparation, and vulcanization control to deliver robust, high-quality parts.

You will standardize processes, troubleshoot complex failures, and participate in APQP/PPAP activities with cross-functional teams, traveling 30–40% regionally to audits and new line

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on process engineering in rubber-to-metal bonding.
• Strong background in elastomer materials and bonding chemistry.
• Experience with rubber molding presses (DESMA/Maplan/LWB).
• Multilingual: English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus.
• Able to work across cross-cultural engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive process standardization and troubleshooting for rubber-to-metal bonding across MX, BR, US.
• Optimize surface prep and adhesive/primer application for zero debond failures.
• Define curing profiles, mold temperatures, and degassing cycles by compound data.
• Lead failure analysis to distinguish stock tear, adhesive, and substrate failures.
• Support APQP/PPAP activities for regional product launches under IATF 16949.
