Job summary
Continental in Aguascalientes, Mexico, is seeking a Product Development - Rubber Material Process Engineer to support rubber material processes for hose production and product development. You will optimize processing parameters, industrialize new hose facilities, and work with cross-functional teams to meet quality and efficiency targets.
The role requires a degree in chemistry/chemical engineering/materials science, strong knowledge of rubber materials, and advanced English.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science.
- Strong knowledge of rubber material properties and processing.
- Advanced level of English.
- Experience with product development lifecycle and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to rubber material processing.
Responsibilities
- Support the industrialization of new hose facility in Aguascalientes.
- Lead the industrialization and optimization of rubber material processes for new and existing hoses products.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate rubber material requirements into product designs.
- Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate and industrialize rubber material properties and performance.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical reports.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in rubber material technology and processing techniques.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in rubber material processing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams and other stakeholders.
