Essity is seeking a Payroll Team Leader to oversee payroll operations across Mexico and Central America, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery. You will lead a team of payroll professionals and collaborate with regional and global partners to drive service quality.

The role requires a strong background in multinational payroll, tax and labor compliance, and advanced Excel skills, with fluency in English and Spanish.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience leading payroll operations within multinational and multi-country environments.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, payroll controls, tax regulations, social security, and labor compliance.
• Proficient in advanced Excel.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Lead payroll delivery across Mexico and Central America ensuring accurate, timely payroll cycles.
• Ensure compliance with local labor, tax, social security, and payroll regulations with strong controls.
• Coach and develop Payroll Specialists and Administrators to build a high-performing team.
• Act as escalation point for complex payroll matters and provide policy guidance.
• Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, automation, and system enhancements.
• Build relationships with HR, Finance, IT, external vendors, and regional leaders.
• Monitor payroll reporting and performance metrics to support business continuity.
