Amazon Mexico seeks an Engineering PM to deliver automation and material handling solutions at Fulfillment Centers across the region, with roughly 50% travel. The role focuses on planning, designing and delivering state-of-the-art systems while upholding safety and project milestones.

The candidate will manage budgets, risk, and schedules, collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, and drive continuous improvements across multiple sites.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years of experience as an industrial/operations/manufacturing/project engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end ownership for medium/large-scale engineering projects (planning, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, launch).
• Provide value engineering and innovative solutions to improve frugality and efficiency.
• Lead design reviews and propose solutions for material handling and storage.
• Create and track CAPEX requests to ensure on-budget delivery.
• Communicate project status and risks; escalate delays across teams.
• Own project budget; provide updates and forecast savings while ensuring quality.
• Provide equipment specs and technical support to Procurement and Change Management.
• Collaborate with WW Engineering, Construction, Operations, Reliability Maintenance Engineering, Procurement and Change Management.
• Participate in SME or process improvement initiatives for safer, leaner delivery processes.
• Oversee contractor management and teams up to ~100 people.
