Amazon is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for OPS Engineering to lead medium to large-scale automation projects at Fulfillment Centers. The role involves planning, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and qualification with ownership of safety, budget, and performance across regional and global teams.

You will interface with internal teams like Worldwide Design Engineering, RME, PMO, Construction, IT, and Launch, plus external vendors.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of industrial/operations/manufacturing/project engineering experience.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end ownership of medium/large-scale engineering projects (planning, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, launch).
• Provide value engineering and innovative solutions to drive frugality and continuous improvements.
• Lead technical design reviews and propose design solutions for material handling and storage.
• Create and track CAPEX requests to ensure budget and value.
• Assess and communicate project status; drive risk escalations across teams.
• Own budget for the project scope and deliver savings with quality.
• Provide equipment specs and technical support to procurement and change management.
• Collaborate with WW Engineering, Construction, Operations, Reliability Maintenance Engineering, Procurement and Change Management.
• Participate or lead SME/process improvement teams; promote safer, leaner delivery processes.
• Manage contractor teams up to ~100 people.
