Corning in Apodaca, NM continues to grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment. We seek a Quality Engineer to develop, implement and maintain quality systems that support production while ensuring ISO 9001 and TL 9000 compliance.

You will work with cross-functional teams to drive product and process quality improvements. Requirements include a engineering degree, 2–5 years in a similar role, reading technical drawings, knowledge of measurement equipment, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Formación

• Engineering degree required.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience reading technical drawings.
• ISO 9001 experience; TL 9000 is a plus.
• Knowledge of measurement equipment and Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills; English 80% proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement and maintain Quality systems to meet production, ISO 9001 and TL 9000 requirements.
• Determine resources for Quality Engineering department and optimize them.
• Conduct product, process and systems inspections.
• Lead KPI and Corrective Actions through problem solving (8D, 5 Whys, A3).
• Attend Customer Notifications and coordinate Process Audit & MSA.
