Corning is seeking a Test Equipment Engineer to support manufacturing test equipment, analyze issues, and ensure stable, documented production processes in Apodaca, MX. You will help optimize optical performance and qualification while updating software, hardware, and fixtures under change control.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering, 1–2 years of experience, and proficiency in instrumentation, measurement systems, and programming. English communication is needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Controls, Software, Optical, or related Engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience in test equipment or measurement domains.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, measurement systems, automation, or programming.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and test data.
• English proficiency for technical communication.

Responsabilidades

• Support manufacturing test equipment for optical performance and qualification.
• Analyze test failures, repeatability issues, and equipment alarms.
• Update software, hardware, fixtures, and interfaces under change control.
• Collect and analyze measurement data to confirm equipment performance and readiness.
• Create and maintain test methods, troubleshooting guides, and calibration docs.
