Corning, located in Apodaca, NM, is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop, implement, and maintain quality systems that support production requirements and ensure ISO 9001 and TL 9000 compliance. The role involves leading continuous improvement efforts, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to guarantee product and process quality.

Formación

• Engineering degree
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience reading technical drawings
• Experience with ISO 9001; TL 9000 is a plus
• Knowledge of measurement equipment
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge
• Strong problem-solving skills
• English: 80% proficiency

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement and maintain Quality systems to meet production requirements and ISO 9001/TL 9000 standards.
• Determine resource requirements for the Quality Engineering department; people, equipment, facilities and optimization.
• Conduct product, process and systems evaluations.
• Conduct finished goods materials inspections and drive continuous improvements activities.
• Lead KPI and 8D/5 whys/A3 problem-solving to improve indicators.
• Attend Customer Notifications.
• Coordinate Process Audit & MSA.
