Lear Corporation is seeking a Quality Resident Improvement professional in Mexico to drive continuous improvement from the customers’ perspective. You will help implement quality management programs and monitor customer feedback loops impacting manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities include direct customer contact, coordinating corrective actions with the Plant Quality Engineer, and generating quality reports while adhering to Biosafety and 5S practices in a fast-paced plant environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in a similar role required.

Responsabilidades

  • Maintain direct contact with customers.
  • Report customer issues quickly and effectively.
  • Coordinate corrective actions and follow-up with the Plant Quality Engineer.
  • Monitor status of customer-reported concerns until closure.
  • Review customer systems to ensure responses have been provided for all issues.
  • Coordinate defect analysis meetings with the Plant Quality Engineer.
  • Generate quality performance reports based on customer metrics and scorecards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment per 5S principles.

Job Description

Quality Resident Improvement work includes:

  • Creating and implementing quality management programs focused on continuous improvement of manufacturing-related business systems from the customers' point of view
  • Identifying and monitoring customer and employee feedback loops regarding the effectiveness of manufacturing-related business systems and processes
  • Encouraging broad-based employee engagement to gather information and implement changes at every level in the organization
Responsibilities

Responsibilities typically include:

  • Maintain direct contact with customers.
  • Report customer issues quickly and effectively.
  • Coordinate corrective actions and follow-up activities with the Plant Quality Engineer.
  • Monitor the status of customer-reported concerns until closure is confirmed.
  • Review customer systems to ensure responses have been provided for all reported issues.
  • Coordinate defect analysis meetings and customer response activities in collaboration with the Plant Quality Engineer.
  • Generate quality performance reports based on customer metrics and scorecards.
  • Comply with assigned activities related to Biosafety measures and COVID-19 protocols.
  • Maintain a well-organized, orderly, and clean work environment through the implementation of 5S principles.
