Lear Corporation in Apodaca, Mexico, is seeking a Production Coordinator for SMT and Backend operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and optimal resource use.

The role emphasizes coordinating with materials, tools, and staff, supervising shop floor personnel, and driving continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance with ISO and related standards.

Formación

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum +3 years of experience in electronic Industry as production or manufacturing Coordination (SMT/Backend).
  • Experience coordinating daily/weekly production schedules and material flow.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate compliance with daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Ensure availability of materials, tools, and personnel to meet objectives.
  • Supervise shop floor personnel to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics to maintain material flow.
  • Monitor KPIs such as efficiency, scrap, cycle time, and on-time delivery.
  • Identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in process improvements like SMED, 5S, Lean Manufacturing.
  • Support new working methods to optimize time and resources.
  • Communicate goals and priorities to the team.
  • Facilitate follow-up meetings with supervisors and operators.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety policies.
  • Support audits (ISO, CTPAT, IATF 16949).
  • Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance to resolve issues.

Job Description

Efficiently coordinate and supervise production SMT and Backend operations, ensuring compliance with the established production schedule, optimization of resources, continuous process improvement, and adherence to the organization's quality, safety, and environmental policies

Responsibilities

Responsibilities typical include:

  • Coordinate compliance with daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Ensure the availability of materials, tools, and personnel to meet established objectives.
  • Supervise shop floor personnel, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics to maintain proper material flow.
  • Monitor production KPIs such as efficiency, scrap, cycle time, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Identify deviations and implement immediate corrective actions.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives such as SMED, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Support the implementation of new working methods to optimize time and resources.
  • Communicate production goals, schedule changes, and operational priorities to the team.
  • Facilitate follow-up meetings with supervisors and operators.
  • Ensure operations comply with quality, environmental, and occupational safety policies.
  • Support internal and external audits (ISO, CTPAT, IATF 16949, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance departments to resolve issues affecting production.
  • Promote continuous training and development of personnel in quality and operational standards.
