Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Quality Engineer II to implement, maintain, and improve the quality management system across design to manufacturing stages. You will focus on defect prevention and continuous improvement, ensuring products meet customer specs and internal standards.

You will analyze quality data, lead CAPA activities, support NPI, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to drive process improvements and supplier quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a quality engineering role within manufacturing and NPI.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 13485, CFR 820).
• Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies (SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA, 8D).
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures per policies, standards, and customer requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and verify CAPA effectiveness.
• Participate in new product introduction activities, including design reviews and process validation.
• Perform statistical analysis of quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead or support internal and external audits to ensure compliance and drive improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and optimize processes.
• Train and mentor junior quality personnel on quality methodologies and tools.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation like control plans, FMEAs, and inspection procedures.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and conduct supplier audits.
