Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Test Engineer to oversee the Test Engineering Process and the factors that influence it. You will analyze yield data, identify defects, and drive improvements across test, equipment, and process steps.

You will support preventative maintenance, review test procedures, ensure compliance with workmanship standards, and update documentation. Collaboration with test engineers and production teams will be essential to minimize downtime and maintain production goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or regulations.
• Ability to write reports, manuals, and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients, and the public.
• Strong math skills including probability and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily test process yield reports and identify defects.
• Increase production yields by reducing operator errors.
• Assist Test Engineer in preventative maintenance programs.
• Review downtime data to schedule preventive maintenance.
• Maintain and update process manuals and documentation.
• Ensure tests are performed according to procedures and quality standards.
• Conduct test evaluations and walk-throughs as needed.
• Set up equipment for programming and verification tests.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
