Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to represent the quality function of technical support within manufacturing, working with internal teams and suppliers to ensure conformance to quality standards. The role includes developing QA plans, supporting early design discussions, and coordinating inspection activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Two years related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of supplier quality and molding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA plans and process routings.
• Support quoting activities by participating in initial process design and implementation phases.
• Evaluate and support inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines.
• Support training programs by development and delivery of specialized sessions.
• Maintain and organize documentation files; develop systems for storage and access.
• Review supplier or customer discrepancies and coordinate corrective/preventive actions.
• Provide trend analysis of defects across customers, suppliers and internally.
• Participate in vendor survey activities as applicable.
• Drive proactive supplier involvement and assist in process improvements.
• Interface with departments regarding ISO, EN4600 and GMP documentation.
• Monitor activities and provide technical/logistical guidance to quality engineering staff.
• Interface with customers on quality issues as needed.
• Support corrective/preventive actions using SPC data and tracking; facilitate meetings, procedures, or team-building efforts.
• Serve as liaison between Jabil and suppliers/customers on quality issues.
• Improve technical support for the quality organization.
• Adhere to safety and health rules and security policy.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field
