Molex is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations by driving product quality, process improvements, and customer satisfaction. You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality teams to identify risks, resolve quality issues, and implement sustainable corrective actions that create long-term value.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and CAPA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across functions.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilidades

  • Support quality systems and ensure compliance with customer, industry, and internal requirements.
  • Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, or similar tools.
  • Analyze quality performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in process validation, risk assessments, and control plan development.
  • Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve process capability and product quality.
  • Support internal, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Review non-conformances and drive containment and resolution activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns and improve performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects and improving customer satisfaction.

Support manufacturing operations by driving product quality, process improvements, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality teams to identify risks, resolve quality issues, and implement sustainable corrective actions that create long-term value.

You will be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality products while continuously improving processes, eliminating waste, and driving operational excellence. The team partners closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to ensure quality standards are achieved throughout the product lifecycle.

What You Will Do

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and CAPA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across functions.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience in automotive, electronics, connectivity, or high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, or similar quality management systems.
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and MSA methodologies.
  • Ability to lead improvement projects and influence stakeholders.
