Molex is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide technical manufacturing support, develop procedures, and drive continuous improvement across production lines. You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Planning teams to meet performance goals and implement new product introductions.

You will analyze processes, train staff, and ensure adherence to PBM philosophy and QMS standards while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or verifiable equivalent
• Minimum two years of experience managing, maintaining, and improving production metrics
• Advanced conversational English
• Experience providing technical support within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to production lines and ensure equipment/processes operate to standards
• Develop and update manufacturing procedures and work instructions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, scrap, and downtime
• Participate in new product implementations and process improvements
• Develop visual aids, SOPs, and tools to support production goals
• Train new employees and support process changes and implementations
• Create routings, BOMs, and cost structures in SAP to identify labor and cost improvements
• Support compliance with Quality, Environmental, Safety, Six Sigma, and related standards

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will provide technical support to production lines, develop and update manufacturing procedures, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and participate in new product implementation projects. In this role, you will play a key part in achieving production, quality, and operational performance objectives while supporting manufacturing excellence.

Our Team:

You will be part of the Manufacturing organization within the CCS division, working closely with Quality, Engineering, Production, Planning, and Suppliers. This position has a direct impact on manufacturing operations and supports the ongoing improvement of production processes and performance.

What You Will Do:

• Support the reduction of customer claims by identifying quality-related issues, utilizing analytical tools, and implementing effective solutions.
• Help drive on-time delivery performance by ensuring equipment and processes operate according to established standards.
• Evaluate and implement improvement opportunities focused on cost reduction, scrap reduction, downtime improvement, and process automation.
• Participate in projects related to process improvement and new product introductions.
• Develop visual aids, work instructions, and tools that support operational performance and achievement of production goals.
• Train new employees and provide support for personnel involved in process changes and new implementations.
• Create and analyze routings, BOMs, and cost structures in SAP to identify opportunities for labor and cost improvements.
• Support compliance with PBM philosophy, Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Safety requirements, Six Sigma, RBA, and CTPAT/OAS standards.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):
