ABB in San Luis Potosí seeks a Quality Control Specialist to execute, document, and validate functional, safety, and performance tests on switchboards, ensuring compliance with UL, IEEE, ANSI standards and customer specs.

You will lead FAT/SAT, verify dielectric testing, insulation resistance, and wiring per schematics, generate test reports, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to release products.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronic or Electronics Engineering.
• 1+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Knowledge of ANSI, UL and IEEE standards.
• Experience working with electrical safety controls.
• Hands-on relay programming and control systems.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and tools.
• Intermediate English level.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, leadership and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Verify power, control, protection, and metering circuits.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections per drawings.

• Identify nonconformities and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure electrical safety procedures and LOTO compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to release products.

Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Quality Control Specialist__Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute, document, and validate functional, safety, and performance electrical tests on low- and medium-voltage switchboards, ensuring compliance with UL, IEEE, ANSI standards and customer specifications, while guaranteeing product quality, reliability, and safety prior to release.
