ABB in Mexico's San Luis Potosí is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to help ensure products, systems and software meet requirements through testing and validation. You will work with internal and customer standards to release compliant solutions and support the local quality initiatives.

You will participate in development and implementation of standards and test methods, and contribute to a safe, cost-effective working environment while maintaining integrity and high-quality results.

Formación

• 1+ years of experience in Electrical Testing Positions with knowledge of electrical testing equipment.
• Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical-Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
• Knowledge of relay programming.
• Intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct test protocols to ensure products, systems, or software meet requirements and customer expectations across incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection quality.
• Support quality control needs for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering within the local organization.
• Execute and assist in quality-related training to promote a culture of quality and integrity.
• Collect, recording, and evaluating data according to ABB specs and customer norms while maintaining integrity.

This position reports to:

Quality Control Specialist

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist local unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are released to the customer.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in SLP.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Conducting test protocols, as assigned, to ensure products, systems, or software meet specified requirements and customer expectations in incoming, manufacturing, factory test labs, or final inspection quality, including internal testing routine and Factory Acceptance Testing (F.A.T.) as applicable.
• Supporting quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and engineering, as applicable in the local organization.
• Executing and assisting specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation.
• Collecting, recording, and evaluating data to be interpreted according to the internal ABB specifications, customer norms, and applicable national and/or global standards while maintaining a high level of integrity.

Qualifications for the role:

• 1+ years of experience in Electrical Testing Positions with knowledge of electrical testing equipment
• Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical-Electrical or Mechatronics
• Knowledgef of electrical safety procedures.
• Knowledge of relay programming.
