Hussmann in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico offers a Purchasing Intern position for students in Industrial Engineering or Logistics. You will gain hands-on experience in purchasing and supply chain while collaborating with Engineering and Production to optimize inventory and procurement processes.

The role requires proficiency in Excel, good English, and familiarity with SAP is a plus. This internship emphasizes proactive, organized, and data-driven problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in the last semesters of an Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• SAP knowledge (optional).
• Intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Generate deviations to reduce OSMI inventory
• Work closely with Engineering and Production to determine material substitutes and required rework
• Reschedule and cancel purchase orders
• Follow up on invoice discrepancies
• Create purchase orders
• Support activities required to mitigate production downtime
