We are looking for a Cost Specialist to optimize financial efficiency through cost control and analysis, ensuring company profitability through accurate execution of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Cost analysis and management, including accounts receivable.
• Monthly financial close with a focus on inventory and costs.
• Support the Controllership team with inventory, cost, revaluation, and annual plan reports.
• Product costing and transfer pricing determination.
• Cost analysis for new products in coordination with Engineering.
• Evaluation of manufacturing process costs and proposal of cost-reduction initiatives.
• Inventory administration and control, including cost variance analysis.
• Cost allocation and analysis for corporate reporting and variance explanations.
• Customer account management and issuance of account statements.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Public Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Cost Accounting.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector (maquiladora experience preferred).
• Understanding of accounting principles (MX GAAP and US GAAP).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP and Oracle preferred) and spreadsheets.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Ability to build financial models and manage projects and costs.
• Knowledge of basic economic principles.
