ABB is seeking a test-focused engineer to set up and execute product tests, assemble mechanical parts, and adapt experimental components for advanced prototypes. You will contribute to documentation, support ABB's R&D efforts, and help prepare prototypes for rigorous testing.

Responsibilities include installing components, working with low/medium voltage prototypes, and maintaining clear records of results. On-site role with opportunities to grow in a global electrification team.

Formación

• Technical Career Certificate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, Control Automation, Electronic or mechatronic Engineering.
• 1+ year experience with electrical equipment and mechanical assembly (physical assembly).
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (8Ds, RCA, Ishikawa).
• Moderate English is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and execute tests for different products following standard testing methodologies.
• Perform mechanical assembly and adapt experimental components for R&D prototypes.
• Install new components in prototype developments and prepare prototypes for testing by the ABB team.
• Work with low and medium voltage equipment in the prototype phase (not energized).
