Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional project management experience in software delivery.
• Experience delivering against fixed external deadlines with critical-path planning.
• Capability to manage client dependencies and escalation paths.
• Exposure to risk registers, change-control processes, and budgets.
• Proficient in coordinating vendors and multi-stream work.
• Strong ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development projects from planning to delivery.
• Ensure on-time delivery against fixed deadlines with milestones.
• Maintain client dependency registers with owners and dates.
• Manage scope, budget, and resourcing across parallel workstreams.
• Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and report status to clients.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure integration timelines.
• Oversee governance, gates, and acceptance criteria with stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required
