Job summary

Bluelight is seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to lead and deliver complex software initiatives. You will coordinate multi-stream work plans, manage client dependencies, and drive risk and change-control processes to ensure on-time, high-quality releases.

You will collaborate with distributed engineering teams across the US-LATAM region, maintain strong stakeholder communication, and uphold best practices with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software project management.
• Experience meeting fixed external deadlines.
• Managing client dependency registers with dates and owners.
• Formal risk registers and change-control processes.
• Managing scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across concurrent workstreams.
• Coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client reporting.
• Experience with Jira, Asana, or similar.
• Strong stakeholder management including translating technical concepts for non-technical clients.
• Identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies.
• Background with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience managing software development projects
• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required
