Bluelight is seeking a seasoned Software Project Manager to lead complex development efforts across distributed teams. You'll ensure on-time delivery against external deadlines, manage client dependencies, and drive risk and change-control processes.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in software project management, strong stakeholder skills, and experience with Jira/Asana in a fast-paced consultancy environment. US- LATAM nearshore experience is a plus, with remote-friendly, flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
• Experience delivering against fixed external deadlines with critical-path and buffer management.
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners and escalation paths.
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes.
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, timelines).
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting.
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar).
• Strong stakeholder management, translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives.
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies.
• Background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsabilités

• Plan, lead, and deliver software development projects on time and within budget.
• Manage fixed-fee or milestone-driven deliveries with clear critical paths.
• Maintain client dependency registers with owners and dates, escalating as needed.
• Maintain formal risk registers and apply change-control processes.
• Oversee scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple streams.
• Coordinate third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, timelines).
• Lead Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and ensure traceable milestones.
• Provide client-facing status reporting and milestone reviews.
• Utilize Jira, Asana, or similar tools for tracking and reporting.
• Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate cross-project risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams and nearshore LATAM/US partners.

• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
