Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to guide complex software initiatives from planning through delivery.

You will coordinate multiple engineering teams across US and LATAM, manage scope, budget, and deadlines, and communicate with clients and executives. This role offers remote work options, opportunities for professional growth, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
• Experience delivering against fixed external deadlines with critical-path and buffers.
• Experience managing a client dependency register with dates, owners, and escalation paths.
• Formal risk registers and change-control processes experience.
• Managing scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, timelines).
• Running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting.
• Using Jira, Asana, or similar for project tracking.
• Strong stakeholder management and translating technical concepts for non-technical clients.
• Identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies.
• Background with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Requirements

• Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines (e.g., product launches, trade shows) with critical-path and buffer management
• Experience managing a client dependency register with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths
• Experience with formal risk registers and change-control processes
• Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple concurrent workstreams
• Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies (contracts, credentials, integration timelines)
• Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams
• Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing status reporting
• Experience with project management and tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience translating technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives
• Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and dependencies
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams
• Ability to overlap US business hours
