Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Mexico to coordinate between a 3rd party vendor, our team, and internal stakeholders. The role focuses on planning, discovery, and strategic coordination rather than hands-on delivery.

The ideal candidate will handle RFPs/RFIs, drive accountability with partners, and communicate effectively with leaders to shape the business case for new products.

Qualifications

• Senior project manager with experience in RFP/RFI, discovery and planning work.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable managing vendors, stakeholders, and leaders rather than delivery teams.
• Able to work in unstructured, non-Agile project environments.

Job description

The goal of this work is really a lot more on the planning and initial requirements. This is less technical at the moment. We are bringing in a 3rd party to do some strategic planning work for new products that we want to build, and we need someone to coordinate between the 3rd party vendor, us, and all of the internal stakeholders that need to be met.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a lot of back and forth between the vendor, our team, and internal stakeholders.
• Act as a PM that has familiarity with the equivalent of RFPs or RFIs, has done discovery work and some planning work.
• Drive accountability with the 3rd party partner while keeping leaders and stakeholders engaged.
• Use extremely strong communication and possibly negotiation skills to get things done.
• Work in a role that is less technical and more about being able to speak to leaders and coordinate effectively.
• No need for any particular platform experience.
• This is not a formal Agile/Scrum project — there is no delivery team to manage.
• Manage the vendor and internal stakeholders, since we are not building anything yet.
• Help build the business case for what we want to build.
