Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical) to support maintenance, reliability programs, and capital projects across Sensient’s production facilities in Celaya, Mexico. You will help improve equipment care, ensure safe operations, and partner with site leaders on performance metrics.

The role requires hands-on electrical or mechanical engineering expertise, experience in regulated industries, and the ability to travel to different sites as needed.

Formación

• Background in electrical or mechanical engineering with hands-on experience in food, cosmetic or pharma industries.
• Strong understanding of maintenance systems, reliability tools, and process improvement techniques.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while working with cross-functional teams and in both strategic planning and on-the-ground execution.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments and ability to lead training or technical discussions.
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to different site environments.

Project Engineer (Electrical)

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Celaya Mexico. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the Maintenance and Reliability programs, Capital Projects and Process Improvement for all production facilities in Sensient Technologies.

What you’ll do

• Support and implement key reliability and maintenance programs across various manufacturing sites and assist in developing strategies and processes for equipment care, including autonomous and condition-based maintenance.
• Evaluate equipment risk and support efforts to minimize downtime and improve safety and efficiency.
• Work with site teams to identify spare part needs and streamline inventory practices
• Contribute to capital projects and process improvement efforts from planning through execution
• Train and support plant maintenance and operations teams on best practices and tools, as well as partner with site leaders to monitor performance metrics and improve preventive maintenance programs.

What you’ll bring

• Background in electrical or mechanical engineering with hands-on in food, cosmetic or pharma industry experience.
• Strong understanding of maintenance systems, reliability tools, and process improvement techniques.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while working closely with cross-functional teams and be comfortable navigating both strategic planning and on-the-ground execution.
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments is helpful along with clear communication skills and the ability to lead training or technical discussions.
• Ability to travel frequently and adapt to different site environments and teams.
