Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer to lead capital projects that improve performance, reduce costs, and optimize operations. The role involves coordinating with site teams and delivering reliable project results.

The candidate will manage documentation, scheduling, and cross-disciplinary collaboration with EHS, Quality, Maintenance, and Production, while applying strong engineering knowledge and PM fundamentals. Onsite work five days weekly is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field.
• 4+ years of capital project execution; PM certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge across civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and environmental engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support capital projects to improve performance, processes, and efficiency.
• Optimize project execution by reducing costs, lead times, and improving timelines.
• Plan, manage, execute, and close capital projects (CARs).
• Monitor progress and provide updates to Engineering Management.
• Collaborate with site teams across EHS, Quality, Maintenance, and Production to deliver projects.
• Create and maintain engineering docs (P&IDs, layouts, calculations).

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead capital projects that improve performance, reduce costs, and make our operations better.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and support capital projects that improve business performance, processes, and operational efficiency.
• Optimize project execution by maximizing resources, reducing costs and lead times, and improving project timelines.
• Support the identification, planning, management, execution, and successful closure of capital projects (CARs).
• Monitor project progress and provide daily, weekly, and monthly updates to Engineering Management.
• Collaborate with site teams across EHS, Quality, Maintenance, and Production to deliver successful projects.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including P&IDs, layouts, capacity studies, and calculations, while supporting root cause analysis and deviation resolution.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in capital project execution, with project management certification preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge across civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and environmental engineering.
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar systems, plus AutoCAD 2D/3D, SolidWorks, and Visio.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
