Sensient Technologies in Lerma, Mexico, seeks a Process Engineer Manager to lead the process engineering function at our manufacturing site. You will plan, monitor, and optimize production processes, ensure safety, efficiency, and quality, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

You will manage a team, oversee plant-floor transitions of new processes and equipment, collaborate with technical teams in St. Louis, and implement ERP-driven optimization using JD Edwards and MS Office.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in process engineering with proven people management experience.
• Hands-on experience with plant-level process control and implementation of improvement strategies.
• Experience leading projects from development through implementation on the plant floor.
• Strong technical knowledge of production, quality, and process control; proficient in JD Edwards and MS Office.
• English proficiency is required with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate process risks while developing and implementing process improvement and optimization strategies, including improving existing products and manufacturing processes.
• Lead the development, implementation, and launch of new product manufacturing processes, taking them through to successful plant-floor execution, and support installation and qualification of new manufacturing equipment.
• Serve as a key link between production and the technical needs of manufacturing processes, working with plant personnel and technical teams in St. Louis, including supporting operations during installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement across existing manufacturing processes and equipment, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, capacity, quality, safety, and reliability while supporting successful implementation on the plant floor.

What you’ll do:

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 7-10 years of professional experience in process engineering, preferably within the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or related process industries, with proven people management experience.
• Hands-on experience with plant-level process control, management of process variables, and implementation of process improvement and optimization strategies.
• Experience leading projects from development through implementation and successfully transitioning them to an operational level on the plant floor.
• Strong technical knowledge of production, quality, quality assurance, and process control in a manufacturing environment, along with experience using JD Edwards or a similar ERP system and Microsoft Office.
• English proficiency is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with plant personnel and technical teams.
