Job summary

Flex in Guadalajara, Mexico is seeking a Program Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing programs, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and cost targets. You’ll coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage schedules and budgets, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong customer relations.

The role reports to the Program Management Manager and requires solid program administration experience, advanced English, and the ability to align resources with customer needs and business

Qualifications

• Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes and their interdependencies at the site.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan and direct program schedules and budgets.
• Track relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.
• Support contract negotiations as required.
• Oversee interdepartmental activities ensuring adherence to product development timelines, delivery, quality and business metrics.
• Review proposals to resolve time frames, funding requirements, procedures, staffing and resource allotment.
• Establish work plan and staffing for each phase and arrange for personnel.
• Coordinate product life cycle activities with P&L and customer satisfaction; manage multiple accounts.
• Serve as the main channel of communication for customers and act as escalation point for issues.
• Conduct customer satisfaction reviews and corrective actions.
• Maintain current and develop additional business with customers.
• Monitor and track project and program deliverables.

Reporting to the Program Management Manager, Program Manager role will be responsible to manage and oversees the end-to-end for a manufacturing program, ensuring that production, quality, safety, and cost targets are met. The Program Manager is accountable for maintaining efficient manufacturing operations to meet internal and customer expectations. This role focuses on achieving high levels of forecast accuracy, managing manufacturing costs, and project timelines aligned with the overall manufacturing capacity for a customer program. This role requires a strategic leader who can effectively manage resources with cross‑functional teams, optimize operational processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize customer satisfaction and manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan and direct program schedules and budgets.
• In charge of tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results.
• Provide help, knowledge and expertise with contract negotiations as required.
• Oversee all interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of all adherences made relative a to product development timelines, delivery, quality and the required business metrics.
• Reviews program proposal or plan to resolve time frame, funding requirements, procedures for accomplishing program, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of program.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of program and arranges for recruitment or assignment of personnel.
• Manage the coordination of product life cycle activities with P&L and customer satisfaction also has control for different accounts of various complexities.
• Be the key channel of communication for customers and act as escalation in the event of customer issues.
• In charge of customer´s satisfaction reviews and corrective actions.
• Maintain current and develop additional business with customers.
• Monitor and track that project and program deliverables are met.
• Be accountable for maintaining excellent customer relations with both new and existing customers.
• Holds up production sites for projects, costs and other customer related matters through business and expertise.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Solid experience in program administration/ management or related area.
• Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
• Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
• Accountability for the program wellness.
• Advanced English.
