Job summary

Flex is seeking a Director of Program Management to lead complex programs from Guadalajara, South Campus. You will develop policies, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure high customer satisfaction and growth for externally delivered products and services.

You will guide strategic plans, manage client relationships, steer contract negotiations, and oversee portfolio performance with a focus on aerospace and electronics manufacturing sectors. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or sciences; MBA is preferred.
• Advanced experience in program management and/or business development (director level).
• Fluent English oral and written.
• Management and comprehension of P&L.
• Solid experience in quotations.
• Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of the aerospace industry is a plus.
• Customer and company metrics.
• Excellent business skills and people management.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans, goals, timelines, and success measures for contracted Flex products and services; act as the primary client liaison.
• Oversee scheduling, coordination and implementation of contracted Flex products and services for assigned clients.
• Coordinate with clients and Flex operations to determine data requirements, production schedule and deliverables.
• Ensure effective communication of strategy between cross-functional teams for smooth project transitions.
• Work with leadership to monitor key metrics and customer satisfaction per account.
• Drive, collaborate and steer business development to win replacement and growth opportunities.
• Provide business proposal support and inputs for existing and new business.
• Monitor the Quarterly Business Review process for effectiveness.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain a qualified workforce.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Director, Program Management located in Guadalajara, South Campus.

Reporting to the General Manager , the Director, Program Management will be responsible for developing corporate, global and organizational policies, and directing cross functional activities to deliver quality programs to external customers, with the overall focus to ensure customer satisfaction and retention to generate growth for the business.

What a typical day looks like:

• Support the program team in the guidance of clients by developing strategic plans, goals, timelines, and measures of success for implementing contracted Flex’s products and services. Act as the primary point of contact between the business and its clients.
• Oversee the scheduling, coordination and implementation of contracted Flex’s products and services for assigned clients.
• Coordinate with the client and Flex operations to determine data requirements, production schedule and deliverables as required.
• Ensure effective communication of strategy as required between cross functional teams to ensure project / product or service has a smooth and timely transition through all phases of documented development processes.
• Work with the Director and Management team with regard to coordination of team members to ensure key metrics are monitored per account and that customer satisfaction is closely monitored.
• Innovate and authorize projects using broad and far vision and expertise in customer requirements to improve and/or extend the value proposition to existing customers, linking them more firmly to Flex.
• Participate in and/or support major contract negotiations.
• Be responsible to drive, collaborate and steer business development activities to win replacement and growth business.
• Provide business proposal support and inputs for existing and new business.
• Monitor and support the program team to ensure an effective use of and participation in Quarterly Business Review process.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or sciences; MBA is preferred.
• Advanced experience program management and/or business development experience (at director level).
• Fluent English oral and written.
