Job summary

Flex is seeking an Associate Production Supervisor to join our Guadalajara North team. You will provide daily supervision to staff and projects, ensuring end-to-end development of personnel and operations.

This role reports to the Associate Production Supervisor and will drive efficient, compliant production processes. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor degree or equivalent and have experience in personnel management and team leadership, with a focus on safety and cost improvement

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in personnel management.
• Impacts immediate (daily or weekly) operations of the team or functional area.
• Executes functional objectives at the site.
• Facilitates team in making group decisions. Approves and/or Makes decisions for sections/sub-functions.
• Participates in creating functional processes or technologies
• Provides input to functional strategic plans and objectives for site.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.
• May act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function.
• Engage in training and coaching of junior operators.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements.
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing individuals on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
