Job summary

Flex in Guadalajara is seeking an Associate Production Supervisor to lead SMT and back-end operations. You will supervise staff, coordinate projects, and drive process improvements while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Reporting to the Associate Production Supervisor, you will mentor operators, manage schedules, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in personnel management and team leadership.
• SMT process background and back-end knowledge are preferred.
• Functional test experience and assembly process knowledge.
• Critical injection knowledge, especially for the Bone Pile area.
• AIO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.
• May act as principal interface between the operation team and maintenance.
• Engage in training and coaching of junior operators.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply.
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment and ensures policy compliance.
