Job summary

Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner of choice, seeking an Associate Production Supervisor in Guadalajara North to supervise staff and projects, ensuring end-to-end development of personnel and operations. You will oversee daily operations and coordinate with maintenance, training, and budget activities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and hands-on experience in personnel management, SMT/injection processes, and assembly/functional testing.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience in personnel management
• Impacts immediate (daily or weekly) operations of the team or functional area. Enhances and provides input to functional processes.
• Executes functional objectives at the site.
• Facilitates team in making group decisions. Approves and/or Makes decisions for sections/sub-functions. Decisions may affect sections/sub-functions
• Participates in creating functional processes or technologies
• Provides input to functional strategic plans and objectives for site.
• SMT Process Background
• Back End Knowledge
• Functional Test experience and Assembly process
• Critical injection knowledge, especially for the Bone Pile area
• AIO Experience .

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.
• May act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function.
• Engage in training and coaching of junior operators.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements.
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing individuals on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
