The role emphasizes responsibility, initiative, and hands-on leadership to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in metalworking environments, a strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, and FMEA/Root Cause Analysis, and the ability to manage 60+ direct reports while driving

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments (metalworking/sheet metal preferred).
• Intermediate level of English required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations including machining, laser cutting, presses, drilling, finishing, painting and welding.
• Ensure adherence to production plans and proper work-in-process inventory management.
• Analyze and improve KPI metrics: safety, quality, productivity, 5S, scrap and downtime.

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic leader, ready to take on challenges and responsibilities in a highly dynamic work environment (high mix - low volume). This position requires a high level of responsibility, initiative, and confidence to lead from the front.

The role involves overseeing daily manufacturing operations such as machining, laser cutting, pneumatic presses, bench drilling, manual finishing, painting, and welding (primarily steel and aluminum).Machining on milling machines, lathes, and drill presses. - Basic knowledge of CNC programming

This position must ensure adherence to production plans, accurate management of work-in-process inventory, and efficient resource allocation to guarantee the achievement of key performance metrics: safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environments (Metalworking / Sheet Metal background highly preferred).
• Intermediate level of English

Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with press brakes, machining, welding, and industrial painting processes.
• Proven track record in personnel management (60+ direct reports).
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and FMEA / Root Cause Analysis.

Key Responsibilities & Metrics:

Daily management and monitoring of KPI's: Safety, Quality, Productivity, 5S, Scrap, and Downtime.
