Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader with a passion for operational excellence, team development, and continuous improvement? We are looking for an Assistant Production Manager to join our Operations team and help drive safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Mains Responsibilities:

• Support the Production Manager in leading daily manufacturing operations.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Supervise and coach production supervisors and hourly employees to achieve operational goals.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Safety, Productivity, Efficiency, OEE, Scrap, Labor Utilization, and On-Time Delivery.
• Analyze production performance and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, and Human Resources to resolve operational challenges.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for production issues.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Support workforce planning, staffing, training, and employee development.
• Participate in capacity planning, labor planning, and production forecasting.
• Lead daily production meetings and communicate operational priorities across departments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• 2+ years of leadership experience supervising production teams.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, process improvement, and manufacturing metrics.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving operational improvements.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience with production scheduling and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with ISO quality systems and safety standards.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
• Effective communication across all organizational levels.
• Conflict resolution and change management skills.
