Job summary

Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, seeks a Production Quality Engineer in Monterrey. You will represent the client, coach plant personnel, and ensure the application of the Control Plan to safeguard product quality and customer satisfaction.

The role involves coordinating with residents and clients, managing customer claims through 8D processes, and driving continuous improvement with a focus on audits, CQI-23, and IATF 16949:2016 compliance.

Qualifications

• Industrial engineer degree or similar.
• Advanced English.
• 3 years’ experience as quality engineer.
• Familiar with CQI-23 Special Process and IATF 16949:2016.
• Knowledge of Core Tools and Cp/Cpk.
• Ability to interpret FMEA and Control Plans.

Responsibilities

• Represent the client and lead plant personnel in quality initiatives.
• Maintain criteria between the Client and the UAP.
• Apply the Control Plan across processes.
• Stop the process and shipments if Safety or Quality is compromised.
• Lead 8Ds to address customer claims and ensure timely responses.
• Coordinate PPAP activities and engineering changes.
• Train staff on Quality principles and CP/Cpk interpretation.
• Maintain Quality documents and AMEF monitoring with Process Engineer.
