Job summary

Forvia, a global automotive technology leader, seeks a Production Quality Engineer in Monterrey to drive quality improvements and act as the client representative. You will lead activities, coach plant personnel, and ensure adherence to the Control Plan, ensuring quality across processes.

You will stop the process if safety or quality is compromised, manage customer claims through 8D, and support continuous improvement with PPAP documentation and process monitoring.

Qualifications

• Industrial engineering degree or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience as quality engineer.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with quality systems and customer-facing processes.
• Familiarity with CP, FMEA, Control Plan and PPAP.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Client and lead plant activities.
• Coach plant personnel on quality methods.
• Ensure application of the Control Plan and AMEF monitoring.
• Stop production/shipment when safety or quality is at risk.
• Manage customer claims and 8D problem solving.
• Lead PPAP activities and documentation updates.
